The trainee learns about personal safety and machinery safety, manipulating tools, Instruments and equipment in refrigeration workshop. Perform fitting and sheet metal works related to repair refrigeration and air conditioning equipment.
BASIC ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONICSThe trainee can able to work in electrical area to measure current, voltage, resistance and able to Connect star and delta connections. Check and rectify the electrical defects in refrigerators. Identify the electronic components in refrigerator and rectify the defects.
WELDINGThe trainee can able to operate gas welding machines for brazing in refrigeration systems. The trainee shall be able to repair, maintenance, Install, gas charging, Refrigerator (Direct cool), Frost free refrigerator and Inverter technology Refrigerator.
REFRIGERATOR SERVICEThe trainee shall be able to identify different compressor, dismantling and assembling Compressors. Start the motor through DOL, Star Delta starter and changing DOR.
MOTOR STARTERSService condensers. , fix refrigerant controls and service evaporator. Recover and Recharge of Refrigerant used in systems, transfer & handling of gas cylinders. Retrofit CFC/H FC machine with ozone friendly refrigerant.

ITI courses are different from diploma courses. The basic difference between the two sets is that ITIs offer Certificate courses while Polytechnic institutes have diploma programs. However, after completing your 10th standard, you become eligible to apply for both ITI and diploma courses.
After you complete the ITI trade courses, you have the option of applying for jobs or higher studies. If going for higher studies, then you can enroll in the diploma courses as per the lateral entry scheme. Under this arrangement, you are promoted to the 2nd year of the diploma programs directly.
